This program prepares recent high achieving candidates to join Universities to obtain a diploma or related degree in marine disciplines. Successful candidates are sponsored to proceed to join selected Universities.

Upon graduation, the Trainee joins the Energy and Industry Sector company as “Staff on Development” at senior staff level for further development to positions in marine and port operations.

Duration of the Program
The program varies in duration with a minimum of 4 years: One year preparation at Qatar Petroleum’s Training Center followed by overseas scholarship for degree in the required discipline.

Eligibility
- Qatari male
- Not more than 25 years old
- Medically fit
- Holds a Secondary school certificate (Science stream) with average not less than 70%

Location of the Program
- Preparatory Training at Qatar Petroleum’s Training Center (Year 1)
- Degree study overseas
